Go Green Run – For a greener Bengaluru!

“Go Green Run”  Bengaluru is here again for the 2nd time. Passionately sponsoring the event—BREN & Champions Group with Decathlon Sarjapur—are inviting local runners, corporate entities, NGOs, professionals, and the public from Bengaluru to participate in this unique community run. It is a marathon designed with keeping in mind the need to be proactive about the degrading natural environment of this great and bustling city. As proud Bangaloreans, we should all take a keen interest in creating a safer, greener and cleaner Bengaluru for generations to come. With this thought in mind, We have put together this run.

Run for a Greener Bengaluru

The “Go Green Run” will cover a distance of two, five and ten kilometers starting from Sarjapur, which is close to Decathlon, Bengaluru. This run will flag off at 6:30 AM on 26th July, 2014, Saturday.

“Go Green Run” will cover a 10 KM boundary area around Sarjapur with the finish line at Champions ground. There will be a corporate relay for men and women as well as for children.

This community run is unique from other marathons or community runs in three main ways: First, participation is open to individuals or as corporate relay teams, i.e., companies can send their employees, both men and women, to run as a relay team. The relay team size is four members, and these individuals. Second, runners can wear personalized t-shirts with logos of respective companies.

Champions Group believes this run is also a unique opportunity to bring awareness about the environment to all the people in Bengaluru. It’s also meant to inspire professionals to make namma Bengaluru a little more greener.
