Social media is becoming a smart way of marketing. The easy access to so many like-minded people in a go lures marketers to be part of various social media channels like blogs, Twitter, Facebook. However, marketers in a fear to losing their prospects to someone else’s kitty cross the fine line between networking socially and intrusion. Make it compulsory to go through it and remember it before you start a conversation with new community, or a group of people or a person. While interacting – The person at the other end of the communication fence too has some restrictions and expectations. They have certain behavioral expectations from you, as you are representing a brand. They see the brand through your eyes. Try to learn what they expect from your brand from the initial conversations. Later interact accordingly in line of gaining their trust and making them your clients in near future.

Don’t forget you are representing a brand in front of a huge gathering. This gathering if get disappointed don’t waste time in sharing their bitter experience/anger with the entire community. Think before how, when and what you talk. At the same time respect the way the recipient wants to hear from you.

Social media marketing demands openness and transparency while reaching your target. Connecting through social media is about developing relationships. More disciplined you are by following the etiquettes, stronger will be your relationship.
